Beglika Morning

Beglika Lake is one of those attractive recesses struggled by lots of human activities. Timber companies working in the area are comparable to American Lodgers. Organisations under the cover of nature conservation arrange a mass festival. Fishermen have occupied all the small piers without number. Mushroom-gatherers, herb-gatherers, etc. have barricaded themselves in makeshift bivouacs. No place left for casual visitors...

I have fastened my eyes on Beglika too. Only wood trucks hurry up and down at the end of the summer season. Most of the bivouac places are available.

At the beginning of september, before the summer has gone, you have negative temperature mornings with frost on the grass.

I didn't wander too much. I moved nearer Polianite place (The Glades).

Small piers come into sight all around the dam.

Fume is ever present part of Beglika mornings.

Beglika

When the sun appears over the forest, sunbeams play with vapours creating an incredible moment.

The water keep smoking till ten o'clock.

Beglika

Heavy fog blankets all of the area on the next morning.

Beglika

I save myself long tours. I bivouac on the glade where Beglika Fest was carried out this year. I'm surprised by the wasteful usage of timber which fishermen would use for kindling-wood later on. There are dozens of wood toilets to be used in the forest once in the year. Wooden benches or tables, welt and good, but there are also many blocks messy all around... anyway, we obvousely talk about some new kind of nature conservation.

Beglika

I took count of some ten piers on the opposite side of the lake. Most of them new ones.

Beglika

The fog shows obstinacy and is still there.

Beglika

No colours. All around me is black and white now.

Beglika

September aspect of Beglika keeps changing more and more. For me, it is one of the most magnificent places ever.
